19th century Europe is swept by Shakespeare mania!

Spend one hour with us as we explore the stories of two artists heavily inspired by his work: Goethe and Berlioz, and the whirlwind left in their wake.

This programme features texts by Shakespeare, Goethe and Gautier, set by composers: Berlioz, Finzi, Schubert, Loewe, and Reichhardt.

This concert is a part of the MUSIC AT ST PAUL’S lunchtime recital series.

Entry is free with a minimum recommended donation of £5.
